How does it work?

It's simple.  When setting up your account, you select the city and area code of your local number, or virtual number.   Once your account has been set up, your callers in the U.S. dial that number and are are automatically connected to your overseas mobile number or landline number in the Bahamas, or wherever in the world you may be located.  You can divert your calls to any telephone number in the world when and as your circumstances require.

You have complete control via online account management as to "where" your virtual number will ring.  You can easily change your "ring to" number via the web, 24/7.  You simply login your account and change the destination number to any other landline or mobile phone number - in real time.



Not a VoIP service

It is critical to highlight that this service is not a VoIP service.  Rather, it is an international call forwarding solution for those who demand reliability.   The service is routed over  the public switched telephone network (PSTN).   The PSTN is the network of the world's public circuit-switched telephone networks, which includes mobile as well as fixed line telephones.  It is the world's collection of interconnected voice-oriented public telephone networks, both commercial and government owned.  Call forwarding services that route their traffic via VoIP can be subject to packet loss and therefore result in negative call quality.  To the contrary, we will forward calls from your U.S. virtual number to the Bahamas over the PSTN.




Four Great Plans from which to Choose
We recognize that our clients have varying needs in terms of usage levels.  Some customers require a local or virtual number for contact purposes only - but do not anticipate significant usage in terms of incoming minutes on a monthly basis.  Other customers anticipate heavy volume coming into their local or virtual number, and seek to maximize savings.  We have created four different rate plans from which to choose, each of which is designed to meet the anticipated usage levels of our valued customers.
Standard
The Standard plan is an economical plan geared toward customers who anticipate modest usage.  The plan includes a one-time set up fee and a nominal recurring monthly fee.  The set-up fee and monthly recurring fee varies based on the country.  This plan does not include any minutes.  Rather, you pay the recurring monthly fee to maintain the toll free or local number plus any additional minutes that result from calls made to your toll free or virtual number.

Preferred
Our Preferred plan is a pre-paid monthly plan that charges $15.95 per month and includes an allotted number of minutes.  Additional minutes beyond the included monthly minutes are charged on a per minute basis in excess of the $15.95 per month.  There is no set up fee for this plan and you have the ability to activate the RollOver minutes option.

Gold
The Gold plan is a pre-paid monthly plan that charges $55.95 per month and includes an increased number of allotted minutes in the monthly plan as compared to the Preferred Plan at a lower per minute rate.  Additional minutes beyond the number of allotted minutes are also charged at a lower per minute basis in excess of the $55.95 per month.  There is no set up fee for this plan and you have the ability to activate the RollOver minutes option.

Platinum
The Platinum plan is a pre-paid monthly plan that is designed for our heaviest volume users.  The plan charges a pre-paid amount of $195.95 per month and offers our lowest per minute rate on international call forwarding.  Additional minutes beyond the allotted minutes are charged at our lowest available per minute rates.  You also have the ability to activate the RollOver minutes option.  There is not set up fee for this plan  This is our most robust plan designed for heavy users. 
 

 

 

Establish U.S. business presence

Setting up a U.S. virtual phone number allows you to establish a business presence in the U.S. without having a physical location.    If your company has clients and prospective customers located in the U.S.  Our service will allow these clients to call you just as though they were making a local call as opposed to an international call.   We can help your business grow faster.   Furthermore, one of the benefits of having a regular U.S. call forwarding number is that the number is accessible from virtually any country as opposed to U.S. toll free numbers (which are quite frequently not accessible from outside the U.S.).

What does the caller pay?

Your caller in the U.S. is responsible for local charges assessed by their local telecom provider for dialing your U.S. virtual phone number.  The good news is that more and more U.S. customers have unlimited calling plans with their mobile and/or fixed land line providers.  Calling your U.S. virtual phone number, whether or not it is actually “local” to their U.S. telephone number, will likely incur minimal cost to the vast majority of U.S. callers.  If your caller is calling from outside the U.S., he/she will incur whatever charges their long distance provider assesses for making an international call to the U.S. 


If you opt for getting a U.S. toll free number, the caller pays nothing since this call is toll free from anywhere in the U.S.  The account holder's cost of forwarding calls to the Bahamas is the same whether you set up a local phone number or a U.S. toll free number. 

 

What does the account holder pay?

As the account holder, you pay the rate of forwarding the call from your U.S. virtual phone number to your "ring to" telephone number in the Bahamas.  Your rate depends on the plan (i.e., Standard, Preferred, Gold, or Platinum) that you select (see below).  Your "ring to" number may be a fixed land line or a mobile phone, and you may change it to another number in the Bahamas or anywhere else in the world via online account management.
