Is it possible to transfer calls from my Australian mobile device to an International Number?
Yes, absolutely. Forwarding calls from your existing phone number in Australia, whether the carrier is Telstra, Optus, Vodaphone or other mobile carriers Down Under is simple. As long as your mobile carrier allows you to forward calls to another number in Australia, you can use our service to forward calls internationally. You would simply forward calls from your existing phone number to the Australia virtual phone number that you have purchased from us.
When callers dial your existing phone number, calls will then forward to your virtual number - which, in turn, forwards to your destination (or "ring to") number outside Australia. There is NO delay in the call transfer. The fact that the call is being forwarded will be undetected by the person calling your number. In fact, we can mask the ringtone if you wish.
The ability to forward calls from an Australian mobile - whether Telstra, Optus, Vodaphone or any other Australian mobile carrier - is an especially popular feature for our Australian business travelers who wish to avoid roaming fees that would otherwise be assessed by their mobile provider.
