Can the service be used to forward calls my U.S. wireless number to an international number while travelling?
Yes, absolutely. If you have an existing mobile number in the U.S. - whether with AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon or any other mobile carrier - and need to forward calls internationally while travelling, our system makes this seamless.
Forwarding calls from your existing U.S. phone number, whether it is a fixed land line or a mobile phone, is simple. You simply forward calls from your existing phone number to the U.S. virtual phone number that you have purchased from us.
When callers dial your existing phone number, calls will then forward to your U.S. virtual number - which, in turn, forwards to your destination (or "ring to") number in your location. There is NO delay in the call transfer. We can even mask the "ring tone" so that it sounds like a U.S. ring tone.

What does the caller pay?
Your callers in the U.S. are responsible for any charges assessed by their local telecom provider for dialing the U.S. virtual number. Most U.S. callers have unlimited calling plans these days, so it's likely that your callers will not incur any charges. If your caller is dialing the virtual number from outside the U.S., he/she will incur whatever IDD charges their long distance provider assesses for making an international call to the United States.
If you opt instead for getting a toll free number, the caller will pay nothing since this call is toll free from anywhere in the U.S.
